The United Chicks Association (UCA) is a dynamic NGO dedicated to empowering female entrepreneurs, start-ups, and small business owners. Our mission is to create a supportive community where women can collaborate, grow their businesses, and achieve their professional dreams. Through educational sponsorships, business challenges, and networking opportunities, UCA fosters an environment where women can thrive both personally and professionally.

Founded by Taryn-Lee Potgieter, UCA is backed by a passionate leadership team, including non-executive director Tamelyn Louw and director Vanessa Lewis. Together, we strive to make a tangible impact on women-led businesses, ensuring they have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to succeed.

At UCA, we believe in the power of community, collaboration, and empowerment. We are committed to:

• Supporting women in business through education, networking, and partnerships

• Creating opportunities for growth through fitness challenges, business training, and events

• Fostering a culture of mutual support where women entrepreneurs can help one another succeed

As part of UCA’s ongoing mission to support women entrepreneurs, we offer sponsorship opportunities for our events and programs. Sponsors gain visibility across our platforms, including our website, social media, and digital magazine, while helping drive the success of women-owned businesses.

Since our founding in August 2024, UCA has:

• Grown to 11 members by the end of the year

• Successfully run two fundraising campaigns

• Partnered with Phoenix Fitness for a Fitness Challenge

• Hosted the first bi-annual Business Growth Challenge

We are committed to achieving even greater milestones, such as launching our first educational sponsorship by the end of 2025 and doubling our membership every year.

There are many ways to support UCA’s mission, whether you’re an individual looking to join or a business ready to sponsor an event. We offer multiple ways to get involved:

• Become a Member: Join our network and gain access to exclusive resources, events, and support.

• Sponsor an Event or Program: Support our programs and gain exposure while contributing to the empowerment of women entrepreneurs.
